This can be delivered in any part of the country and is aimed at those schools who might struggle to come to Rochdale due to distance or transport costs. To check availability, book a session or borrow a loans box email [email protected] ____________________________________________________________________________________ Primary School Workshops - Key Stage 1 and 2 We welcome schools to the museum and can offer Mondays and Tuesdays for exclusive use We can come to your school - anywhere in UK (this is often cheaper than coach travel) You can hire a loan box to engage with the co-operative past and principles Read our information pack on the full schools offer and pricing: 2024/25 learning programme for KS1&2 For Secondary Schools and Adult Learners (KS3 +) We offer digital sessions for KS3 on the Industrial Revolution and the impact of the co-operative movement on working class lives in the 19th and 20th Centuries. This includes a pack of resources sent in advance and time to connect with staff at the museum through a video link once you have completed the activities. We can offer BESPOKE sessions covering co-operatives and citizenship as well as sessions for adult learners about the difference between co-ops, collectives and B-Corps as well as to complement literacy and ESOL (English as a second language). We also have a loan box aimed at older learners and this can support dementia friendly activity funded by Action Together. KS3+ Learning programme Free resource for KS3 - Robert Owen CHT_Father_of_Co-operation_Robert_Owen_KS3_History.pdf Robert Owen themed pilot study 'Co-operatives and Careers within the world of work' is now part of the Welsh KS3 curriculum: Complete a historical investigation to answer questions about Owen, his role in reform and the Industrial Revolution in Britain and links to the Co-op movement.
