Co-op History Talks

We offer talks for small groups on aspects of the history of the co-operative movement which are based on collections held at the Archive. 

We currently give talks on the following subjects:

  • History of the Co-operative Movement from the Rochdale Pioneers to the Present Day.
  • History of the Co-operative Wholesale Society.
  • Co-operative Buildings and Architecture.
  • Co-operative Movement and Film
  • Introduction to the Archive and guides to your research*. 

Talks take place at Holyoake House, Manchester or elsewhere by arrangement.  Please contact us for more details.

Charges apply for talks which vary depending on location:

  • Talk at Holyoake House, Manchester (max. 10 people) or a live digital presentation : £50
  • Talk within Greater Manchester: £80
  • Talk within the North West: £80
  • Elsewhere in the UK: £120.

 

*Please note this talk is only available at Holyoake House as it incorporates Archive materials.
