You can donate to support our museum and archive work

Your financial donations, large and small really matter.  They help us be more than just a place in to visit or hold documents you can use for research. We want to engage people with the story of co-operation to help them use co-op values today in providing solutions for our modern challenges.

Why?

Our heritage assets and documentary collections are used to explain the ways in which co-op values can help make society a better place. Ours is a local story but also founded a global movement where members own their organisations and have a say in how they are run.

As an independent charity, caring for our museum and archive costs us more than we can earn and donations from the public are vital to help to provide access to this heritage for generations to come - without your help, this heritage shared by the global movement is at risk.

What will we do with your donations?

We will use them to repair and maintain the museum building, conserve and work with our archives and object collections to raise awareness of the benefits of co-operative culture for a new audience of co-operators.

We may use these to support offering events and activities locally and make them accessible to visitors from around the world

You can also help us 'in kind' through corporate donations, bequests in your will and by volunteering your time.
