In order to make the culture and heritage of co-operation more impactful for local people, we empower them to learn new skills, meet and work with one another to put the values and principles of the Pioneers into action.
We believe that when people work together they can achieve long lasting change.
In 2019 we were funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund to work with local Young People to open up our heritage. From the project a core group was created to help us to change the way we share our stories and find creative ways to engage with younger audiences.
The pandemic disrupted this work and we would like to make connections with young people to give them a voice in how we use our space and look after our heritage for the future. If you are a young person who would like to contribute to a Youth Focus Group please contact [email protected]
